The cellular toxicity of aluminium.
Aluminium is a serious environmental toxicant and is inimical to biota. Omnipresent, it is linked with a number of disorders in man including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s dementia and osteomalacia. Evidence supporting aluminium as an aetiological agent in such disorders is not conclusive and suffers principally from a lack of consensus with respect to aluminium’s toxic mode of action. Obligatory to the elucidation of toxic mechanisms is an understanding of the biological availability of aluminium. This describes the fate of and response to aluminium in any biological system and is thus an important influence of the toxicity of aluminium. A general theme in much aluminium toxicity is an accelerated cell death. Herein mechanisms are described to account for cell death from both acute and chronic aluminium challenges. Aluminium associations with both extracellular surfaces and intracellular ligands are implicated. The cellular response to aluminium is found to be biphasic having both stimulatory and inhibitory components. In either case the disruption of second messenger systems is observed and GTPase cycles are potential target sites. Specific ligands for aluminium at these sites are unknown though are likely to be proteins upon which oxygen-based functional groups are orientated to give exceptionally strong binding with the free aluminium ion.

Aluminum Detoxification
Aluminium Recovery urgent
As already mentioned, the aluminum rejection by the body’s own forces is limited. The body desperately needs a support and this can be done in several ways.

Silicon – reliable assistant in the aluminum Recovery
The second most abundant element on earth, namely silicon, can help in the aluminum excretion. Silicon can bind the aluminum and thus neutralize and exit. Moreover, this element can prevent even the aluminum deposits in the body! But silicon can do much more: It ensures the health of skin and hair, helps to optimize the liver function in and even helps to strengthen the bones. Now is silicon, this natural antidote Alu, only sparsely present in the food. While containing the mineral water of this microelement, also millet or barley can be used as natural sources of silicon, but all in all the body gets from food far too little silicon. In addition, just highly bred millet or barley varieties hardly contain silicon because their roots do not grow deep enough. It follows one thing: People are also high-quality nutritional supplements instructed to selectively supply the body with silicon and other vital minerals.

Aluminium Recovery: More options
In addition to the silicon and magnesium is a probtes agent for aluminum excretion. This element is indeed in the diet – especially in green leafy vegetables, seeds and nuts – contain, but on the menu of most people are these foods have little or only in a unreichenden dimensions. The result is chronic magnesium deficiency and aluminum deposits in the body. Therefore is also recommended to rely on dietary supplements. Zinc and selenium in combination with vitamin E also serve the aluminum excretion and must be taken daily. Zinc supply on the one animal foods such as meat or cheese and other nuts. A good source of selenium are Brazil nuts, vitamin E – hazelnuts, and vegetable oils. Use of folic acid also manages the aluminum excretion, this acid is included among others in whole grain products and eggs from the organic farming. The microalgae Chlorella is known for its detoxifying effect, solves also metals from the tissue and also supports the aluminum of the pipe. Wild garlic also helps the toxins to mobilize so that they can be discharged quickly.

What’s left to do?
To support the aluminum rejection, further measures are meaningful. Primarily the intestinal function is to be normal, because in particular in risk of clogging of the toxic substances from the colon to get into the organism. Colon Cleansing cures are therefore essential for the effective aluminum excretion. The healthy intestinal flora is an important prerequisite for the success of aluminum excretion. Furthermore, the cleaning and strengthening of liver and kidneys is essential. The liver and kidneys are responsible for the removal of toxins and poisons from the body, and only when these organs are working properly, the aluminum can succeed Recovery. Tip: drink enough and always pay attention to the intake of fluids is a must. It is understandably important to avoid sugary and enriched with chemical additives drinks.

Scientific information on the excretion of aluminum
It is scientifically known that silica (silicon dioxide …) reduces the rate of absorption of aluminum in the intestines and improves renal excretion.
Christopher Exley, professor of bioinorganic chemistry at Keele University in Staffordshire has been found that silicon in the layer of aluminum or aluminum compounds can pass from the body more quickly, because an increased intake of silicon showed a higher excretion of aluminum in the urine.

The toxic effect of aluminum poisoning can be cured by the homeopathic remedy Bryonia – this remedy acts as an acute antidote to the damaging effects of the metal inside the body. Physical symptoms induced by poisoning with aluminum which can be treated using Bryonia can include the presence of a persistent constipation along with dryness in the internal areas of the body. The homeopathic remedy Plumbum can be used as the main antidote, to treat aluminum toxicity which induces sudden abdominal cramps and the atrophy of muscle tissues in the affected individual. If the symptoms induced by the toxic metal include mental symptoms such as confusion about identity and time distortions, then the homeopathic remedy known as Alumina must be used to treat the patient. This remedy can also be used to treat the symptoms such as chronic constipation and the giving out of frequent vaginal discharge in women – these are symptoms often observable in many patients afflicted by toxic aluminum contamination. The presence of one or more symptoms must be treated using the appropriate remedy.

General metal toxicity
The homeopathic remedy known as Sulphur can be used in the treatment of general toxicity to different metals. This remedy has effective and very wide ranging effect on the toxicity induced by metals in the body. The remedy is effective in aiding the body’s elimination of accumulated toxic metals in the deep tissues; it can help clear the metals accumulating in the lymphatics and in such organs like the liver or kidneys. The remedy can also be used as an antidote type treatment for cases of metal poisoning, it may be considered a preliminary treatment remedy and in some cases, it can also be utilized in cleaning up the body as more of a specific remedy to treat a particular symptom. The remedial actions of the Sulphur is in the treatment of physical fatigue, it can be used in the treatment of eruptions on the skin and it can also be used in the treatment of poorly healing skin in patients afflicted by metal toxicity. This homeopathic remedy must be used as a general purpose preliminary cure for all cases of metal poisoning.

Aluminum Toxicity

Definition Aluminum toxicity occurs when a person ingests or breathes high levels of aluminum into the body.

Aluminum is the most plentiful metal in the earth’s crust. It is present in the environment combined with other elements such as oxygen, silicon, and fluorine.

Exposure to aluminum is usually not harmful, but exposure to high levels can cause serious health problems. If you think you have been exposed to high levels of aluminum, contact your doctor.

Causes Because aluminum is found in food, water, air, and soil, people may be exposed to high levels of aluminum when they:

  • Drink or ingest substances containing high levels of aluminum
  • Breath aluminum dust in workplace air
  • Live where aluminum is mined or processed
  • Live near certain hazardous waste sites
  • Live where aluminum is naturally high

Risk Factors Anyone can develop this condition, but certain people are more likely to develop aluminum toxicity. The following factors increase your chances of developing aluminum toxicity:

  • Diminished kidney function
  • Hemodialysis
  • Drinking or ingesting substances that are high in aluminum
  • Living or working in an environment that contains high levels of aluminum
  • Receiving long-term IV nutrition
  • Living in dusty environments

Symptoms If you have any of the following symptoms, see your doctor, especially if you have kidney disease or are on dialysis :

  • Confusion
  • Muscle weakness
  • Bone pain, deformities, and fractures
  • Seizures
  • Speech problems
  • Slow growth—in children

Complications may include:

  • Lung problems
  • Nervous system problems causing difficulty with voluntary and involuntary actions
  • Bone diseases
  • Brain diseases and disorders
  • Anemia
  • Impaired iron absorption
Red Blood Cells
Red blood cells new
These vital cells transport oxygen through the body. Symptoms of aluminum toxicity such as anemia and impaired iron absorption decrease the number of red blood cells.

Diagnosis You will be asked about your symptoms and medical history. A physical exam will be done.

Tests may include the following:

  • Bone biopsy
  • Blood tests
  • Urine tests
  • Stool tests

The diagnosis is usually made by typical symptoms along with high aluminum in the blood. Aluminum in the bone marrow will confirm the diagnosis.

Treatment Talk with your doctor about the best treatment plan for you. Treatment options include:

Medications The medication, deferoxamine mesylate, may be given to help eliminate aluminum from your body. This substance works through a procedure known as chelation, which helps the body remove poisonous materials.

Aluminum Avoidance You will be instructed on how to avoid exposure to excess aluminum from your diet and other sources.

Prevention To help reduce your chances of getting aluminum toxicity, take steps to avoid the following if they contain aluminum:

  • Antacids
  • Antiperspirants

Talk to your doctor about your risk of aluminum poisoning from dialysis and total parenteral nutrition solutions.
