PubChem POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE

Kalijum permanganat („hipermangan“, KMnO4)

POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE

In the environment, containing easy to oxidize substances (organic substances, purulence), it easily resolves into oxygen and manganese oxide, which, subject to solution concentration, either constringes, irritates, or burns the tissues. The released free oxygen atom causes the anti-microbial effect and eliminates unpleasant odor.

Just prepared potassium permanganate solution shall be used. It serves for cleaning of wounds and festers as well as cleansing of skin in case of certain diseases (e.g. eczema), especially in the event of the secondary infection.
